数据审核中Grade E 是普通强度船钢的 −40 °C 牌号：在船级社规则下屈服 235 MPa，夏比韧性保证到 −40 °C。它服务于冰区航行和寒冷气候船舶，而这些船的板厚并不需要更高强度的 EH 牌号。
