S32760 (F55) vs 2205 Duplex
These two grades are listed as equivalents of each other: their chemistry windows overlap and they serve the same applications. They are not always identical — check the differences below before substituting, especially in certified designs.
S32760 (F55)
Stainless Steel
S32760 (sold as Zeron 100 / F55) is a super duplex stainless alloyed with tungsten and copper on top of the 25% chromium super duplex base. The W and Cu additions lift pitting resistance and give useful resistance to sulfuric and other reducing acids.

2205 Duplex
Stainless Steel
2205 is the most widely used duplex stainless steel, with a roughly 50/50 ferrite-austenite structure giving twice the yield strength of 316L plus excellent pitting and stress-corrosion resistance from 22% chromium, 3% molybdenum and nitrogen.
