S275J2
Data verifiedS275J2 is the low-temperature quality of the S275 family to EN 10025-2: same 275 MPa yield as S275JR, but with Charpy toughness guaranteed at −20 °C and tighter phosphorus/sulfur limits. It is the default step up when S275 plate or sections work outdoors in cold climates.

Applications & Processing
Applications: Outdoor structures, bridges, crane runways, cold-region buildings, welded fabrications.
Processing: Welds with standard low-hydrogen practice; the low P/S limits reduce lamellar tearing risk in restrained joints.
FAQ
- S275JR, J0 or J2 — what changes?
- Only the impact-test temperature and the P/S limits: JR is tested at +20 °C, J0 at 0 °C and J2 at −20 °C. Strength values are identical across the three qualities.
