NM360

Data under review

NM360 is the entry grade of China’s GB/T 24186 abrasion-resistant plate family: a 360 HBW class plate that roughly triples the wear life of mild steel while staying easy to cut, bend and weld — the economy choice for moderate abrasion.

Applications & Processing

Applications: Truck beds and trailer floors, agricultural machinery, chutes and hoppers, low-impact wear liners.

Processing: The most fabrication-friendly NM grade: cold bending with radii ≥3× thickness, standard low-hydrogen welding, plasma/laser cutting.

FAQ

NM360 or NM400?
NM400 gives roughly 20–30% more wear life in sliding abrasion and is the default for mining duty. NM360 wins where forming, welding volume or budget dominates and abrasion is moderate.
