EH36
Data verifiedEH36 is the premium 355 MPa hull grade with impact toughness guaranteed at −40 °C — standard for LNG/LPG carriers, ice-going ships and Arctic offshore structures. It is the toughest of the widely traded 36-series ship plate.

Applications & Processing
Applications: Gas carriers, ice-class hulls, Arctic offshore, cold-climate decks and shells.
Processing: Use −40 °C rated consumables and class-approved WPS; preheat control matters more than for A/D grades in winter yards.
