Applications & Processing

Applications: Gauges, intricate blanking dies, thread rolling dies, broaches, long taps and reamers.

Processing: Very low distortion makes it the default for precision tools that cannot be finish-ground after hardening.

FAQ

CrWMn vs 9CrWMn?
Different GB/T 1299 grades: CrWMn carries more chromium (0.90–1.20%) and tungsten (1.20–1.60%) than 9CrWMn (the O1 counterpart, Cr 0.50–0.80%, W 0.50–0.80%), giving CrWMn better wear resistance and hardenability.
