API 5L X60
Data verifiedAPI 5L X60 is a high-strength line-pipe grade for long-distance, high-pressure gas pipelines, where its 415 MPa yield cuts wall thickness and steel tonnage versus X52. Modern X60 is TMCP plate or coil with very low carbon.

Applications & Processing
Applications: High-pressure gas pipelines, offshore flowlines (with supplementary requirements), station piping.
Processing: Good field weldability in PSL2 chemistry; preheat follows CE and wall thickness, not the grade name alone.
