5CrMnMo
Data verified5CrMnMo is the nickel-free companion to 5CrNiMo in GB/T 1299: manganese replaces nickel for hardenability in medium forging die blocks. It is the cost-saving standard for smaller hammer and press dies in China.

Applications & Processing
Applications: Medium forging die blocks, hot trimming dies, die holders, hot shear blades.
Processing: Hardenability is lower than 5CrNiMo — for very large blocks or the highest toughness, step up to 5CrNiMo.
