410L
Data verified410L is a low-carbon 12% chromium ferritic stainless: reducing carbon below 0.03% keeps it soft, weldable and free of the hardening seen in 410. It is a workhorse for containers, transport and structural applications in mildly corrosive environments.

Heat treatment
Anneal 730–800 °C or process anneal as required; with carbon below 0.03% it remains essentially ferritic after welding.
