Mill test certificate (MTC)

The mill's document reporting the actual chemical composition and test results of a heat or lot. An EN 10204 3.1 certificate is validated by the mill's independent inspection department; 3.2 adds a third-party witness. Buyers should always order material with the certificate type stated on the PO.
